Where Performers Aspire!

WPA is Westmoreland County’s premier theatre education program, offering a dynamic blend of classes and professional productions for students of all ages and abilities. We provide a safe, inclusive space where children, teens, and students with disabilities can develop their skills in acting, singing, and dancing under the guidance of passionate instructors. Our mission is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the arts, both on and off the stage.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Being with WPA has been an amazing experience for my son. Through them, he found a passion he never knew he had. They have taught him how to express himself through new characters, and he went from hiding in the back of the crowd to hoping for lead roles! He has enjoyed the variety of classes they offer and is excited to try more.”

AMANDA M.

WPA Parent

“I love that the studio and directors are inclusive of everyone, and are there every step of the journey.”

RILEY R.

WPA Student

“My son has been doing theater with the Marinos for eight years now and loves it! Everyone is supportive and inclusive and it really feels like family.”

MOLLY C.

WPA Parent

"We've been taking my granddaughter to see musicals since she was about four years old, and she quickly fell in love with the idea of being on stage herself one day. Then she met Tony Marino and was instantly starstruck. She knew he was the one who made the shows happen. Every time we saw him, she'd run up and hug him like an old friend, and he was always so kind and gracious in return.

When the time finally came for her to step on stage, she was filled with excitement, and to this day, she can still recite her lines from that very first show.

Once she joined WPA, we knew she had found her niche and her people. The thing about WPA is that it’s more than just a theatre program - it’s a family. It’s truly heartwarming to see the friendships that grow among the kids, and to witness how the staff treats each of them with respect, constructive guidance, and endless encouragement. And yes, love. You can feel the love the Marinos and the entire staff have for their students.

If your child has any interest in theatre, I wholeheartedly encourage you to give WPA a try. It’s amazing what theatre can do for a child."
