WHERE OUR YOUNGEST STARS SHINE ✨

The Shooting Stars program gives our preschool and elementary school students an introduction to singing, acting, and dancing, while also working on self expression, socialization, and teamwork. 

Our class meets on Saturday mornings during the school year and then for one week in August for summer camp!

CLASS SCHEDULE

SHOOTING STARS SHOWCASE

Saturdays 10:00 - 11:00am

Led by Ms. Renata, this exciting and imaginative class introduces young performers to the magic of musical theatre in a playful and supportive setting. Students will take part in a fully staged production, complete with lights, sound, costumes, and props, while exploring the joy of singing, dancing, and acting. With an emphasis on creativity and confidence, this class allows each child to discover their unique voice, embrace the fun of live theatre, and take their first steps into the world of performance.

INTRO TO DANCE

Saturdays 11:00 - 11:30am

Dance with Ms. Renata in this fun-filled intro class, perfect for young movers eager to explore rhythm and expression. Through engaging activities and playful choreography, students will learn new dance moves, develop coordination, and practice memorizing routines—all while discovering how movement can bring music to life. With a focus on creativity and confidence, this class is the perfect first step into the world of dance!

INTRO TO ACTING

Saturdays 11:30am - 12:00pm

Taught by the engaging and imaginative Miss Gia, Intro to Acting is the perfect first step into the world of theatre. Through fun games, creative storytelling, and interactive exercises, young performers will explore character, expression, and stage presence in a supportive and playful environment. This class builds confidence, encourages creativity, and introduces the fundamentals of acting in a way that feels like pure fun!

  • Not at all! WPA welcomes students of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned performers. Our diverse mix of students is what makes our program so special! Whether your child loves the spotlight or maybe is a bit shy, we create a supportive environment where any student can learn, grow, and gain confidence.

     

    No singing, dancing, or acting experience? No problem! We love helping students discover new skills and find their voice, no matter their starting point.

  • Our studio is located on Main Street in downtown Greensburg, with convenient access to city parking, which is free on weekends and after 4:00 PM on weeknights. Most of our classes are held at the studio, but showcase classes move to the theatre during tech week as we prepare for performances.

    Our productions have been staged at various local venues including WCCC Science Hall Theatre, the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center, and The Palace Theatre, giving students the opportunity to perform in professional theatre settings!

  • Our classes range from $50 to $150+, depending on the class and duration. However, we’re committed to making theatre education accessible and will guide you through the registration process to help you get the best value with our many discounts and specials! We offer multi-class discounts, sibling discounts, and exclusive promos for both new and returning students.
